There are so many different methods and techniques for dog training that it can all be so overwhelming. I would like to share with you a very natural way to produce complete trust and enhance your relationship, with animal communication. No matter what way of training your dog that you choose this will give you the rewards that you both deserve.
Have you ever been in the position where no matter how loud you are or how much you call your dog it is as if you do not exist! There he is doing something totally inappropriate and you have no control and left feeling useless. His or her ears are not with you but as you scream and shout everyone else in the park can defiantly hear you.
Out come all those secret dog training skills that you have been working on. The pack leader stance, sharp hand signal, the food distraction. They all mould into one and instead of bringing him or her back into control the only thing that you achieve is create great entertainment of the other dog walkers.
Any good minded person wants a relationship with their dog that is caring and has a heart felt closeness. Everyone wants a happy and well-behaved dog! The true dog human relationship is full of joy and fun while wrapped in a blanket of security and devotion. Dogs have an abundance of unconditional love and unconditional forgiveness to share with us.
Then what is the best way in creating this balanced working relationship with your dog? Well if you want your dog to listen to you then you had better think about starting to listen to them. Now you dog is not going to start talking to you in English but they are always communicating using a language of feelings and when you place your attention with them you will start to feel their communication
So how are you going to make this work for you and your dog? The most natural way to understand your animals feelings in detail is animal communication. When your attention is fully with them then you will share on a whole new level.
What I mean by feeling them in detail is that you can understand their physical and emotional states accurately. It sounds like this could be hard but far from it, this is not a special gift only for the few. Anyone can learn this way of communicating.
Learning animal communication is easy and so effective in helping people improve their dog training skills. The side effect is that you will have a much closer relationship and understanding for each other. It really is worth looking at.
Training Animals Needs A Trusting Relationship!
by James French
Humans have so many different opinions when it comes to training animals. There is what is known as the old school training and this is usually based on the idea that we are the superior being and animals had better do as we command or there will be trouble.
Then we have the I will let my dog or horse do as he or she pleases and its OK if they misbehave because I love them so much.
Of courses there are many stages between the two, so what is the right balance? Where can we find the place where both the animal and the human are happy and well behaved?
Let have a look at these two ways and see what is happening for the animal on an emotional level.
The dominant approach, well here is an animal that is responding through the fear of the consequence of not doing it right. I have to do this or I am going to be in for it! This is an animal that is emotionally on the edge. They have a look in their eyes as a child would if the parent was being too firm. This over time produces a repressed and withdraw individual.
Horses that are in this state are jumpy and find it hard to concentrate as they are move focused on the feeling that this person is going to tell them off for not getting it right.
Now lets look at the opposite, here is an animal with way too much responsibility. The person is not teaching the animal and this produces a lack of confidence. Dogs with no guidance can become fearful and even over protective. In extreme cases they resort to aggression because they literally don't know any other way forward.
This animal is also racing in their minds producing too much emotion to find their own confidence.
Have a look at the video below which uses a method based on building trust between an animal and a human. Creating a relationship by helping them to find peace of mind.
The special balance needed between an animal and a human is developed through trust. Then the dominant ways are completely pointless as there is a far stronger relationship. This moves the focus from telling the animal to truly teaching the animal.
Your animal with naturally listen to you when they share this feeling of trust, as you will be someone who is trust worthy.
There is a big shift in animal training, it is becoming increasingly obvious that there are better ways that are so much more rewarding. to make this happen it is not the animal who need to change, it is us!
How Animal Communication Changed My Life And Enhanced My Dog Training!
by Rebecca Lowe
We first encountered animal communication when we had reached the end of our dog training with our Border Collie Cross Badger. We reached a point when everyday dog training no longer worked with her, this is her story.
Life had become settled and dare I say boring so to spice things up a little we decided to look into getting a puppy! We read dog training manual after dog training manual and the day eventually arrived when we felt we had read enough and we were ready to go get one!
We put everything we had learned into practice from day 1 and wow was she responsive or were we just that good at it?! She picked up all the usual commands with total ease, this was going to be a breeze.
5 weeks later it all changed. This little puppy was showing me her teeth if I went near her bowl, toy or bone - what happened to our wonderful and carefully planned dog training?
The problem went from bad to worse; the showing of teeth happened more and more often until she bit me. This was not only aimed at me but also my husband and anyone she came into contact with. Our not so little puppy was now people and dog aggressive, possessive of her toys and guarded her food. She would also lay in her bed, curled up into a small ball and stare at us. What was she trying to tell us?
Life became very limited to say the least. We could not trust her in any situation any more and the invitations to friends and families with the dogs dwindled to nothing, too many people were understandably now frightened of her. No-one to look after her so that we could have a holiday, days out were limited to a few hours. We were at a total loss as to what to, we could no longer get through to her and we felt she was out of control I guess we all were by this time.
Various techniques and methods were used by the numerous Trainers and Behaviourists we consulted. Nothing worked, in fact if anything they made her worse. She was now aged 1 and fully grown, what a hopeless situation, where did we go from here? What next.. anything?
Life by now was incredibly stressful. We couldn't carry on living like this, was she going to bite me today? Was she ever going to change? Is this just the way it is always going to be? Can we cope? We just wished we could understand her we knew that one day something serious would happen and then it would all be too late. Re-homing was out of the question as she would never actually leave the rescue centre as she had already displayed aggression. It had been suggested to us that she should be put too sleep for her own good was it time to make that decision?
We loved this dog and could not simply give up on her. A friend had recently had some great success with her own dogs using an Animal Communicator so sceptically we decided to give it a go we had nothing to loose any more.
Desperate for our questions to be answered we contacted the recommended Animal Communicator - James French and waited for the insight and understanding of our dog that we so craved.
Our life's were saved! This may sound a dramatic statement but our life's really were saved Badgers and ours! James gave us the insight we needed to eventually start to move forward. He told us what motivated her, what she needed and actually what she didn't need!
We learned that Badger's digestive system was shot to pieces. The vet had never picked this up, despite numerous visits. This explained why she could not bear to be touched, she was not aggressive after all, she was just in constant pain.
The other thing we learned was a little more mind blowing. Whilst we knew she was highly anxious yet extremely dominant this was not technically her fault?! Badger had become my mirror, I reeled when I was gently informed of this. How could this be? What on earth had I done to my dog? But I had read all of the dog training manuals and done everything to the letter? It suddenly dawned on me we had been going through this for 3 years now and I was practically a nervous wreck and between us we were caught up in our own little vicious circle.
We made immediate changes starting with her food. We threw away the high quality biscuits and replaced it with a complete raw diet and amazingly very soon after we started to see some changes, we were too scared to breath was this really happening? After all this time were we at last making progress?! I also had some work to do too! If Badger was my mirror then I had to start looking at my own life and start to make my own changes.
I gave up my very stressful job, I started having more 'me' time to enable me to relax properly. Most importantly, I decided that I also wanted to train to become an Animal Communicator.
If our own dog had been placed in rescue she would not have been re-homed or worse still she would have been put to sleep. How many dog owners out there were suffering like we had? How many dogs were dumped at rescue centres never to be re-homed or put to sleep simply because they do not have a voice and cannot be heard?
I am now a very proud fully qualified Animal Communicator! I fulfil my dream everyday of helping humans and their animals share a rewarding and lifelong friendship and I have Badger to thank for this. Dog training on it's own did not work for us however combining Animal Communication and Dog Training together wow, what a powerful combination!
